Demon Dreams Part 2

This is only a fragment of a dream, but I note it because it is almost a carry-over of a dream I had on 10/18/2012.

All I can really remember is being in my bedroom and trying to get changed to go out with Anita. I grabbed two of my favorite shirts and they were ripped and torn all over the place. I somehow knew this was caused by a demon and it made me think of the previous dream.  I was upset and frightened about the demon being there. There had been encounters but I don’t remember anything about them.

At this point my brother and niece came over and came into my room. My brother asked me what was wrong and wouldn’t believe me when I told him a demon was harassing me. I was holding this empty soda can and crushed it with my hands. Suddenly, I felt the can tremble and it un-crushed then it flew across the room and behind the head of my bed. I look at my brother and asked, “Do you believe me now?!” And he did. Then I woke up.

Demon Dreams

It was one of those incredibly vivid dreams when you think you are awake.

I had been asleep (in the dream) and woke up to use the bathroom. I came back into my bedroom and laid down on the bed. I was feeling a bit aroused and started to run my hands over myself. But when I tried to stop I couldn’t. I couldn’t control my body. I wasn’t possessed, but something was in the room with me and it was trying to fuck me. It was a demon. I never saw it, but it was there touching me. I thought of something Ms. Graveyard Dirt said about fucking spirits on Tumblr, that it is the “weirdest sensation ever.” It was like that. Erotic and frightening at the same time. Continue reading

Eclipse & New Moon

APTOPIX Ring Of Fire Eclipse

Since I was able to watch the eclipse from here, I made a perfect little pinhole camera out of an old Christmas topper box to view it with. Throughout the viewing time I would go out front and see how it was progressing. It was fun cause the old man across the street had his telescope out in his front yard to view the eclipse with. Nice to know I’m not the only geek on the block!

During the eclipse I decided to make use of the twilight energies and went about with some workings. Although I was born and raised in this house, I am new to the neighborhood at this point. The energy of the place has changed dramatically, so I took the time to reintroduce myself to the genius loci. I live at the base of a 569 foot hill which is a part of a chain of ancient volcanic mountains, so I climbed the short hill and went to the spot I was called to go to. I sat and meditated and conversed with the spirit I found there and presented it with an offering. Continue reading

Supermoon 2012

The “supermoon” appears behind the Temple of Poseidon in Cape Sounion, south east of Athens, Greece, while tourists watch, on Saturday, May 5, 2012. Dimitri Messinis/AP Photo

I stood out last night under the perigee full moon and set out all my cleansed quartz crystals to charge.

I also cleansed all manner of jewelry and other stones, some of which came outside with me as well.

I toasted the gods, the ancestors, and the fair-folk and asked for a blessing for myself and others.

I also took the time to do a releasing spell. I wrote out my request on parchment and burned it by the light of the full moon.

As I stood there watching the incense waft, a very bright falling star shot across the moon (likely from the Eta Aquarids) which I took as a positive sign while the neighborhood barn owl circled silently above, over-shadowing me.

This morning I found one of its downy feathers in the backyard. Wildspeak has this to say about the barn owl.

Being prone to judging others based off first impressions, first impressions, occasional inflexibility, adapting to things in unexpected ways, being made into a villain by others, sometimes having to be the ‘bad guy,’ a possible connection to Ares, a close relationship to mice and rodent energies, an exceptional ability to hear the truth in all worlds.

Quick & Dirty: This is why you don’t fuck with a witch.

A storm brews overhead.  I play music that removes obstacles and call to the spirits who protect and guide me.  I smudge the room with rosemary.  By candlelight, I trace the ægishjálmr in cascarilla powder within a copper vessel.  On torn parchment I scribe my spell with the blood of a dragon.  On one side I place a second ægishjálmr, on the reverse I cross my name over his four times.  I anoint the sigil and fold it deiseal and charge it to protect.  I add agrimony, rue, bay leaves, mint, red pepper flakes, and his hair and blood.  I fold all this together in aluminum foil and form a small sachet.

The storm picks up. It is pouring rain. Lightning flashes outside the window and thunder shakes the house.  I spit on a white candle and carve the word ‘PROTECTION’ on it’s side.  I anoint it with oil.  I set the candle in a silver holder and place it on top of the sachet in the center of the copper vessel.  I light the flame.  I feed it smoke and burn more rosemary.  I call to my spirits.  I cry.  I release.  I beg for their help.

The storm rages violently directly over me traveling towards him.  Two black cats circle me.  Spirits come.  Energy flows.  Kundalini rises.  My spine tingles.  My chakras spin and my aura glows.  Then the storm calms and the candle burns out.
