Starting Over

I’m always starting over with this blogging thing. Long story short, things have been deleted, some things have been privatized. I managed to rematerialize a lost photo digitally. So all the pics are good, a lot of links are broken. Sorry! If something needs credit or you want it removed click the contact me link at the top and will rectify the situation.

To Blog or Not to Blog

I have been very absent from the blogging world for the last few years.  First I discovered Covenspace (may it rest in pieces) and then moved on to other Pagan-themed social networks and now I am just at Facebook (and Twitter, and Tumblr, and Flickr, and YouTube).  Blogging for me became redundant.  I was posting and cross-posting and then I just.. stopped.

So now I have revived my blog, combining different blogs into this one and went through and deleted a HUGE amount of posts.  At this point I am still private with no immediate plans for public reintegration, but who knows what I will do in the future.  I feel pretty “meh” about the whole thing.  At least for now.

This post is a re-introduction of sorts.  It is here for you, the reader, so that you can understand my blogging background (and my spotty archives, 2002-2006 were apparently very irrelevant) and to let you know that below this post it gets pretty random.

Read on if you dare, because from now on, here be dragons.

It is the still point of Being that is neither a beginning nor an ending, but is both at once. It is our woven red thread of Old Fate; the All that is, that was, and that will be. The quintessential spiral of life that is both physical and spiritual and it exists in a journey of perfect dynamic balance.

The cosmic void.  A place of universal emptiness.  Why did I give my website this name?  Honestly I don’t know.

I started using it back in the early part of 2000.  I was trying to think of a name for a little freebie website I had for my  homepage, that contained news, bookmarks, and other info I used daily online.  This was back before places like Google or Yahoo offered customized homepages.  Then name literally just popped into my head, and I liked it.  I had created other websites with different names, but this was different, it felt right.  Little did I know then what it would turn into in terms of my website and in terms of my path in life.
