Lord Ganesha

A few weeks back I stumbled across a new favorite blog and since then I have felt a little less stagnant in my magic. Ceremonial Magick is completely opposite of how I normally work, so I have found it strange that it is a blog with a Chaos Magick perspective. I have been reading a bit on the web about it, but most of the information reads like a television repair manual. However, the way the author explains things makes it click for me.

One of the rituals I have tried is an Obstacle Removing Ritual (step 2). I printed out the above picture of Ganesha and taped it to my wall above my altar as well as setting it as my desktop wallpaper. I’ve been listening to the mantra Om Gum Ganapatayei Namaha (Om and salutations to the Remover of Obstacles for which Gum is the seed.) and chanting along while burning sandalwood incense. I have to admit I was not expecting it to be so powerful. I was literally buzzing!
